These photographs were taken by Geoff Reeves as we were descending the Hatton flight with Hilary and Bruce Lagden on Tree Sparrow. Although Geoff has been a keen photographer for only 18 months, he has always enjoyed walking canal towpaths. He lives in West Heath, seven miles south of Birmingham and a half hour drive from Hatton locks. The border collie in the bottom picture is, of course, our Bess.
